Pidgin 2.6.2
Pidgin is a chat program that lets you log into multiple accounts on chat networks at once. This means you can be chatting with friends on MSN, talking with a friend in Google Talk, and sitting in a Yahoo chat room all at once.
Pidgin runs on Windows, Linux, and other UNIX operating systems. Pidgin supports the following network’s chat box: AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber / XMPP, MSN Messenger, Yahoo, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, IRC, Novell GroupWise Messenger, QQ, Lotus Sametime, SILC, SIMPLE , MySpaceIM, and Zephyr. It can support many more with plugins.
Pidgin supports many features of these chat networks, such as file transfer, away messages, icons, emoticons, and notifications of writing. Many plugins also extend the functionality of Pidgin above and beyond the standard features.
